Cotton laces, sometimes referred to as Barmen, Cluny or Tortion Lace, give a crochet/macrame look and are used in home and tablewear as well as a dress-making or fashion trim. Insert laces have two straight edges making them suitable to superimpose on a fabric, or to use to join to pieces of fabric. Mostly in white or ecru.
